Deciding on a cool name for your new pet can be harder than it seems. This article shows you some advice on naming your pets.

It is also very important for the pet as long names can be hard for your pet to recognize quickly. A long name such as ‘Abbie Aggy’ will probably be more confusing that ‘Kat’. This obviously depends on the pet, but as a rule of thumb long names aren’t usually a great idea.

Secondly, it is also a good idea to not name the pet rude or embarrassing names. Get ideas from your pet. The name also has character and relates well to the pet.

Be imaginative, there’s nothing like thinking up an imaginative name. Of course you can use some inspiration from websites or books about pet or baby names to help you. There are also websites about naming your pet. Many of them have huge databases of names for all sorts of pets.

Don’t forget the great outdoors when inspecting your dog’s area.  Dogs, especially puppies, find plants fun playthings.  The following common house and garden plants are toxic to dogs:

Pet dogs are not human, but hey, that doesn’t mean they do not need a massage! Pet dogs relish a massage as much as their masters do! And, if a professional who is trained in pet massage administers such a therapeutic massage, then it can provide immense health benefits to your pet dog. Elderly dog pets that do not get their daily dose of exercise are benefited the most by a pet massage.

The feeling of touch helps a dog develop a strong socialization system and a fortified emotional system.

Pet massage helps better blood circulation, lends that suppleness to the dog’s muscles and enhances his metabolic rate. Administering a therapeutic massage to your  dog pets is an excellent way to bond with your pet. Apart from the obvious benefits that pet massage imparts to pet dogs, it also helps the humans think positively – a human who administers a pet massage knows that his pet dog is loving it and that the massage will help the dog’s physical and emotional system, and that kind of fills the human being with a great sense of fulfillment.
